Participant Guidelines
As a participant of the LEAD Program, I understand that there are certain expectations I must meet. As a county representative and LEAD participant, I hereby commit to:

- attend ALL workshops, meetings, discussions and activities conducted during a scheduled LEAD session;

- be punctual to all activities;

- be objective concerning critiques of my performance at all sessions andoffer the same objectivity to other participants;

- attend at least two county Farm Bureau meetings to promote the benefits of the LEAD Program and my experiences as a class member;

- exhibit a positive attitude towards others participating in the program;

- notify the state coordinator immediately of any conflicts or emergenciesthat may require special attention;

- participate in one or more communication activity promoting the LEAD Program, including, but not limited to, writing blog posts and/or providing on-camera or radio interviews.
I have reviewed the 2025-2026 LEAD Program Outline and understand that failure to attend the sessions or to comply with the above guidelines could result in my dismissal from the Leadership Enhancement for Agricultural Development Program.
